Mayweather Boxing + Fitness is opening Saturday, March 5, at 6670 Kalamazoo Ave. SE in Gaines Township. Opened by Grandville resident Zachary LeMieux and his father, Craig, the gym provides a workout that combines boxing, strength training and cardio to make customers feel like they trained alongside the boxing great.

March 04, 2022 // Franchising.com // GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Mayweather Boxing + Fitness is expanding its Michigan presence by opening a new location in Grand Rapids, which also happens to be Mayweather’s hometown. Co-owned by Zachary LeMieux, this new gym is located at 6670 Kalamazoo Avenue SE Suite A, Grand Rapids, Mi. 49508 and is set to open in early to mid-March. This is the first Mayweather Boxing + Fitness for LeMieux.

This particular gym was franchised by Burrel Lee Wilks III, vice-chairman and co-founder of Mayweather Boxing + Fitness, who said he loved the concept so much he wanted to own his own studio.

Offering the most effective group fitness experience on the market today, Mayweather Boxing + Fitness utilizes methods developed throughout Floyd Mayweather’s 21-year undefeated boxing career.

“I started this franchise to help people achieve their fitness goals and feel good about themselves,” said Floyd Mayweather, legendary boxer and co-founder of Mayweather Boxing + Fitness.
